Miller, age 68, passed away on Monday, August 29, 2011, in Bullhead City, Ariz. She was a retired owner of Sonja Miller Insurance in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., was born August 4, 1943, in Rural-Carrington, N.D. She loved traveling the USA in her RV with her little dog "QT" and her husband LeRoy, visiting State Capitals, Presidential libraries and Presidential homes. She also enjoyed sewing, crocheting and collecting antiques. Sonja was preceded in death by her parents, Bernhart and Gladys Schlotman Nysted; three sisters, Mable Lund, Nora Miller and Gloria Beach; and brother, Walter Nysted. Sonja is survived by her husband of 39-years, LeRoy Miller of Bullhead City; son, Darren Stokes of Los Angeles, Calif; daughter, Cindi (Tim) Mason of San Diego, Calif.; two sisters, Lois (Glen) Meyer of Bullhead City, Ariz. and Arlene (Darwin) Rodacker of Carrington, N.D., and her brother, Richard Nysted of Carrington, N.D.; grandson, Kellen Mason and granddaughter Amanda Mason, both of San Diego, Calif. A private memorial service will be held Saturday, September 17, 2011.
