Brenda Iris Williams-Gonzalez, age 55, a 3-year resident of Needles, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2011, in Needles, Calif.
She was born September 5, 1955, and was a member of the Fort Mojave Indian Tribe.
Brenda was preceded in death by father, Irving P. Williams; mother, Darla Hills-Bedell; son, Jermaine Williams; and sister, Bernadette Bedell.
Brenda is survived by her daughter, Alvisshanna Osborne; son, Alvis Emerson, Jr.; four siblings, from Mohave Valley, Ariz., Bruce (Kathy) Williams, Denice Williams, Melinda (George) Williams-Cruz, and Benny Bedell, Jr.; three siblings, from Phoenix, Ariz., Marsha (Paul) Martinez, LaNelda (Clay) Hutchinson, Dora Williams; also three siblings from other areas, Dennis Williams of Needles, Calif., Baylen Bedell of Parker, Ariz., and Roylen Hammond of Winterhaven, Calif.; aunt, Minerva Jenkins of Needles, Calif.; two grandchildren, Eddie Vasquez and Xamaura Osborne; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 3, 2011, at The Mohave Valley Assembly of God, 220 Regents Road, Mohave Valley, Ariz.
Immediately following the service, Brenda will be taken to the Tribal Cryhouse for traditional services, at 700 Harrison, Needles, Calif.
A cremation will be held at 5:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 4, 2011, at 700 Harrison, Needles, Calif.
