Gerald "Jerry" Robert Slocum entered into life April 17, 1955 in Tokyo, Japan and entered into rest April 19, 2009 in Phoenix, Arizona.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory: his mother; Meda Slocum, sister & brother-in-law; Alice & Bruce Pillion, niece; Hannah Pillion and many loving friends.

Jerry loved to cook gourmet meals. He loved a cold Guiness and music by Frank Zappa & Eric Clapton. He was a man of huge kindness and generous heart, who loved to smoke a fine cigar and have long philosophical talks. He also loved the mountains and nature with all of his heart.

Celebration of life services 1:00 pm, Saturday, May 2, 2009 at Amazing Grace Christian Church 7310 W. Camelback Rd., Glendale.
