MYERS, Kenneth Wayne

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 09/15/2011 Kenneth Wayne Myers of Snowflake died Sept. 5, 2011, in White Mountain Lake. He was born Nov. 15, 1954, to Homer and Elizabeth Myers in California. Ken met a beautiful young lady, Valerie Reneé Falling, who later became his wife. They married Aug. 9, 1980 in Bellflower, Calif. and later were sealed for time and all eternity. In 1981, Ken and his wife moved to Phoenix and in 1991 moved to Snowflake. Kenneth loved to spend time outdoors, fishing, camping, cutting wood, riding his Harley, shooting guns and restoring cars, trucks, boats, or anything he could get his hands on. He especially loved the time he had with his family. Ken was preceded in death by his father, Homer Clayton Myers. He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Grace Myers of Snowflake; loving wife, Valerie Myers of Snowflake; five children: Brandon Myers of Calif., Bryan Myers and Forrest Myers both of Snowflake, Misti (Heath) Thomas of Glendale, and Amanda (Sam) Wilcox of Peoria. Ken is also survived by one brother, Gary Myers, and a sister, Coleen Chandler, both of Calif. A graveside service was held Friday Sept. 9, at the Snowflake Cemetery in Snowflake.
