Scott has returned to his Heavenly Home on Sunday after a long and courageous battle with many health issues.
Scott was born in Virginia, Minn. and raised in Cook, Minn. He was preceded in death by his father, mother and dear Aunt Ann.
He is survived by his loving wife Penny; sons Ryan of Bloomington, Minn.; Mark and wife Chana of Tokyo, Japan; stepson Bruce Frilstad of Denver, Colo.; stepdaughter Kaysie and husband Darin Schwartz of Aurora, Colo., and grandsons Eric and Spencer.
Scott and his wife moved to Lake Havasu City eight years ago from Brainerd, Minn. Since coming to Lake Havasu, Scott had suffered from many serious medical problems. Throughout this time he never once complained and was an inspiration to all.
Scott was a psychologist with the Bloomington School District in Bloomington, Minn., for 27 years. He, along with his wife and children also owned and operated a small family fishing resort in the Brainerd Lakes Area of Minnesota for 23 years.
Scott was a member of the Elks, the Eagles and the American Legion Post of Nisswa, Minn.
Funeral services are to be held at Mlaker Funeral Home in Cook, Minn. on Sept. 29, 2011 at 1 p.m.
