James Lee Johnson entered into life March 18, 1942 in Canton, Ohio and entered into rest May 8, 2009 in Goodyear, Arizona.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory: his wife of 46 years; Louise, sons; James Jr. and Eric, granddaughters; Juanita Johnson, Amanda Johnson and Cadence Johnson with a great grandchild on the way, brothers; John Wesley Baumgarner, Frank Baumgarner and Louis Johnson Jr., sister; Debra, Margaret Johnson and Barbara.
James was a Juvenile Corrections Sergeant in the Law Enforcement industry for 10 years. Also, a U.S. Air Force veteran. He retired after 33 years from Boeing aircraft as an aircraft engineer before he went to the state. He loved golf, it was his true passion, he belonged to Estrella Mountain golf club, and had served the community as a little league umpire. But his true calling in life was being a grandpa (pa pa).
Visitation 5:00-7:00 pm, Thursday, May 14, 2009 at Crystal Rose Funeral Home 9155 W. Van Buren St., Tolleson with services including full honors to start at 7:00 pm.
