James F.R. Murphey, 81, of Chino Valley, Ariz., born Aug. 7, 1930, in Prescott, Ariz., passed away Sept. 15, 2011.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. with services following at 11 a.m. Sept. 20, 2011, at Word of Life Assembly Church, 590 West Road 1 North, Chino Valley.
