The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 09/20/2011 Veronica T. Meade, 17, died Sept. 7, 2011, in Tucson. She was born Feb. 25, 1994, in Grand Forks, N.D. Veronica was a resident of Tucson for five years and graduated from Marana High School. She is survived by her parents, Kathryn Eagle and Stoney Williams; sisters: Ashley Meade, Keircy Williams, Lawren Williams, Kimberly Meade; brothers: Isiah Williams, Keshawn Meade, Keith Meade Jr. and Desmond Wool; grandparents: June and Thomas Y. Eagle, Edna Meade, Evangeline and Justin Williams, and many aunties, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by Keith Meade and Bernard Meade. Services were held at her places of residence in the White Mountains, Alchesay Flats and White Shield, N.D. She was laid to rest overlooking Lake Sakakawea in central North Dakota at the Eagle Family Cemetery Arrangements were handled by Thompson Funeral Home in Garrison, N.D.
