Miguel Thomas Carrion entered into life January 2, 1950 in Phoenix, Arizona and entered into rest June 27, 2009 in Avondale, Arizona.
He is survived by: daughter; Joanne Palafox, granddaughters; Felicia & Noelani, brother; Jesus Carrion, sisters; Alice Rubio, Ramona Montoya, Barbara Carrion, and nieces; Juliet Carrion Mendez, Patricia Soto, nephews; Angel & Renee Carrrion and Rudy Montano. He was preceded in death by; his parents Ramon Carrion & Petra Rodriguez.
A native of Arizona, one of the first graduates of the Peace Corps. He worked in the fields harvesting lettuce, watermelons and roses. He had a heart with purity of motive. He liked to serve at the rescue missions. Even when he didn't have anything he still wanted to give. He was very righteous, if he saw something that wasn't right he wanted to do the right thing. He had 3 goals and accomplished 2 which were to establish his income and be independent in his own apartment, his 3rd goal was to put his teeth in and by the grace of God he has accomplished that goal now.
Visitation 8:00-9:00 am, Monday, July 6, 2009 with service at 9:00 at Crystal Rose Funeral Home 9155 W. Van Buren St., Tolleson, AZ with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery 10045 W. Thomas Rd., Avondale, AZ
