Mario Vinci, 97, of Prescott, Ariz., born Aug. 7, 1914, in Chicago, Ill., died Sept 21, 2011, in Prescott.
A private cremation will be held at the Bradshaw Crematory in Prescott Valley.
Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home assisted the family with final arrangements.

Mario Vinci, 97, born Aug. 7, 1914, in Chicago, Ill., passed away Sept. 21, 2011.
He moved to Arizona in 1950. He worked many years as a teamster for Suggs Homes. Mario also worked as a miner when he first came to Arizona. He gained experience in a mine in Mayer, one in Skull Valley, the Bagdad mine and in Superior.
Mario met his current wife, Virla, in Prescott, Ariz. They were married over 30 years and lived in Prescott Valley when they applied to move to the Pioneer's Home. They moved into the home together on Feb. 12, 1997.
Mario is survived by his sister Toni Campbell; brother-in-law Wayne Funk of Washington; daughters Dana Cisco of Prescott Valley, Lucy (Mrs. Burke) Burris of Texas; sons Jeff Fulton of Tempe, Tom Grover of Prescott Valley, Jim Duncan of Idaho; and many nieces and nephews in the Phoenix and Chicago, Ill., areas.
The celebration of Mario's life will be at the Arizona Pioneer's Home at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 30, 2011. Guests are welcome to attend.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, at the Arizona Pioneer's Home Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home.
