Ronnie Gene Hibbitts, 61, passed away Sept. 17, 2011. He was born on Feb. 9, 1950, in Oceanside, Calif., to Jack and Agnes Hibbitts.
 
Ronnie lived in Yucca for five years, coming from Cochilla, Calif. He married his wife, Betsy, on April 9, 2007, in Chipley, Fla. He served his country in the U.S. Marines and was honorably discharged. Ronnie was an avid motorcycle enthusiast as well as enjoying fishing. He will always be remembered as a very devoted husband, brother, grandfather and friend.

Ronnie is survived by his wife of four years, Betsy E. Hibbitts, of Yucca; brothers, Terry (Pat), Danny (Ernie), and Dickie Hibbitts; sister, Joyce (Wayne) Patterson; grandchildren, Misty, Haylea and Ronnie; several nieces and nephews; and numerous extended family. He was preceded in death by his son, Scott Lee Hibbitts; and his parents.
