HENDRICKS, Melvin James

Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from September 20 to September 27, 2011 - Melvin James Hendricks, age 83, 28-year resident of Bullhead City, passed away on September 14, 2011, in Bullhead City, Ariz., after a courageous three year battle with cancer. He was born on December 13, 1927, in Adams County, Indiana, to John and Verna Hendricks. "Mel" was a licensed contractor and custom cabinet maker. He will be forever loved and missed by his family and friends. Mel is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jean; five daughters, Marcy Bryan, Sherri (Mike) Givler, Karen (Jim) Grainger, Janis (Jerry) Mason, Lisa (Ed) Wendt and one son, Jim Hendricks; a brother and two sisters; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. No services will be held. His body was donated to Science Care.
