Parker Pioneer, Parker, AZ - Published on September 21, 2011 - Evelyn Marie Lomax passed away Sept. 6, 2011 in Lake Havasu City, Ariz. at the age of 80. She was born to Horace and Nellie (Hardin) Collins on Jan. 18, 1931 in rural Furnas County, Neb. Evelyn married Ralph Dean Lomax of Wilsonville, Neb. on June 21, 1949 at Beaver City, Neb. Evelyn made Big River, Calif. her home 24 years ago when she moved from Westminster, Calif. She was a member of the Parker Valley Presbyterian Church, the VFW and was a Doe member of the Elks in Parker, AZ. Evelyn leaves behind her three sons, Brian Dean Lomax, of Williams, Ariz.; Lee Alan Lomax, of Parker, Ariz.; and Donald Eric Lomax, of Upland, Calif.; daughter, Lois Renee Lomax, of Fort Lupton, Colo.; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
