Norvel Owens Mortuary, Flagstaff, Arizona William "Bill" Grice (November 8, 1924 - September 15, 2011) William (Bill) Grice, of Flagstaff, died on September 15, 2011. He was born on November 8, 1924 in Lincoln, Nebraska. After High School, Bill served his country in the Navy during World War II. After his discharge in 1946, Bill married Helen, his wife of 64 years, who predeceased him in December 2010. Bill enjoyed many years as a Realtor in Iowa, Nebraska and Arizona. He used his gift of singing in various choirs and quartets. Lincoln, Nebraska was special in his heart, and he remained an avid Cornhuskers football fan. Bill was a loving husband and father. He is survived by daughters, Linda (Ken) Starr of Flagstaff, Donna (Joe) Abodeely, of Maricopa, and a sister, Dorothy Wilhelm. He is predeceased by his parents, Henry and Alvena Grice, his brother, Merlin Grice, and sisters, Helen Hughes, Betty Wilhelm, and Marge Button. Burial took place at Citizen’s Cemetery in Flagstaff next to his wife, Helen. Private services have been held.
