Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Saturday, September 24, 2011 - Michele Anne Occhiogrosso, 24, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 15, 2011 in Lake Havasu City. She was born on Aug. 13, 1987, in San Diego, Calif. to Richard and Tirra Diane (Schneider) Occiogrosso. Michele lived to push the boundaries of an ordinary life. She lived every day to the fullest extent possible, finding freedom in the small things and finding the best people to surround herself with. "Meepers", as she was known to her family and friends, had a love for jokes and laughter that will always be remembered by those who loved her. We will never stop loving that "Micher" smile, her love and passion and her fire for more life. Whether your memories are of her beloved and spoiled Luke, swimming at sunset, soaring a kite and chasing after it; feasting on yummy breakfast burritos; gazing into the stars on a glorious night; reading an awesome book; treasuring turtle decorations; frolicking in the freedom of nature; chunky dunking in the moonlight; basking in the sun's soothing rays or a good vodka tonic with extra-extra lime, Michele's adventures will always be a part of those who loved her. Michele is survived by her twin sister Angela; younger sister Tiffany; best friend Luke; uncle Ron; close friends Bailey, Danica, Ed and Mindy as well as many more who will always love her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Occhiogrosso, mother Tirra Occhiogrosso and grandfather Donald Schneider. Private services will be held by close family and friends.
