MONCRIEF, Leoncia (Leony)

Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from September 25 to October 2, 2011 - Leoncia "Leony" Moncrief, age 76, a 7-year resident of Fort Mohave, Ariz., passed away peacefully on September 9, 2011, in Las Vegas, Nev. She was born on December 15, 1934, in Palo Leyte, Philippines. Leony was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and caregiver, who enjoyed playing bingo with her friends. She will be greatly missed and forever will be in our hearts. She will rejoin her husband, Dennis Moncrief, in heaven. Leony is survived by her five children, Helen, Nenita, Elsie, Lea and Paul; five grandchildren, Nathalie, Nenita, Chastity, Kristine and Jason; and 12 great-grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held in Oxnard, Calif. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Leony's name to the Bullhead City Dialysis Center, Attn: Kathy Pearson, 2650 Miracle Mile Rd, Bullhead City, AZ 86442, in the form of food or gas cards for patients needing assistance.
