PATON, Edith Marie


Crystal Rose Funeral Home, Tolleson, Arizona Edith Marie Paton entered into life November 6, 1915 in Somerville, Massachusetts and entered into rest September 9, 2009 in Goodyear, Arizona. She leaves behind to cherish her memory: 2 daughters; Suzanne (Howard) Moore of Georgia & Melissa (Jim) Branzell of Litchfield Park, Arizona, 2 sons; Bruce (Roseanne) Paton & Michael Paton of California, 3 grandchildren; Archie, Sarah & Tracey, 1 great grandchild; Howard and 1 sister Jackie. Edith now joins her husband of fifty years. She met her husband in dance school, After nine years of dating they decided to marry and have a family. Edith had a very creative spirit, she loved to paint (not just the kitchen), but beautiful oil paintings. She was well read on most topics, she loved to read and was very on topic and knowledgeable of what was happening around her,and very active with community politics. She liked to garden, and had a talent to create beautiful garden scapes. She was nicknamed "The Warden", she kept her kids in line, she ruled with humor and was very loving to all who knew her. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery at a later date in Orange, California.
