Crystal Rose Funeral Home, Tolleson, Arizona Ramon C. Martinez entered into life November 6, 1926 in Litchfield Park, AZ and entered into rest December 3, 2009 in Goodyear, Arizona. He is survived by: his wife of 60 years, Felicita, children; Sally (Phillip) Sanchez, Victor, David (Della), Joseph, Mary Esther (Santiago) Rivera, grandchildren; Michele, Jacob, Priscilla, Patricia, Josephine, James, Michael, Eric, Andrew, Anthony, Alex, Tony, Thomas, great grandchildren; Frankie, Jaylee, Xavier, Rhianna, Isaac, Angelique, Robert, Noah, Christopher, Dylila, Alexis and Nevaeh and 1 sister; Fedelina Rodriguez. Preceded in death; son; Ramon Jr., granddaughter; Leticia, great granddaughter; Joelissa, great grandson; Gabriel and brother; Cruz Moreno. He served in the Army during WWII and Korea and worked as a farmer for Goodyear farms. He was a handyman and not only worked but also taught his sons and grandchildren to do most things. He was fascinated by history, and not only provided for his family but also his grandkids and great grandkids. His work ethic was beyond comprehension. He was stricken with Alzheimer's six years ago and he and his family suffered with that disease until he was called home. Mass of Christian burial 10:00 am with viewing 1 hour prior (9:00), Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 512 N. 93rd Dr., Tolleson with interment at 1:00 pm, at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, AZ with honors.
