The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 09/30/2011 Lenis Darlene Taasevigen, 66, of Show Low died Sept. 18, 2011 of cancer. She was born July 15, 1945, in Enterprise, Ore. Lenis graduated Enterprise High School in 1969. She has lived in Show Low for the past 27 years. She is survived by her sister, Geri (Bill) Shea of Show Low; daughters Kristy (Alan) Boguslawski of Jerome, Idaho, Cindy (Phil) Billingsly of Madison, Wis.; Step daughter Jill Z. Smith of Butte, Mont.; niece Valerie Pratt of Show Low; and nephew Ray Huffman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cal Taasevigen, her father, Raymon Bennett, and her mother Mary Ammons A service will be held at the VFW in Show Low at noon Saturday, Oct. 8. Arrangements were handled by VFW Ladies Aux. & Women of the Moose.
