West Valley View, Avondale, AZ January 01, 2010 Earl L.B. Hamilton, 78, of Goodyear died Dec. 28, 2009, in Goodyear. Mr. Hamilton was born Jan. 27, 1931, in Phoenix. He spent 24 years in the service with brief periods in the Army and Navy before becoming an Air Force officer. He retired as a major. He is survived by his wife, Darlene; one daughter, Sharon; two sons, Russ and Mark; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Jan. 5 at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road in Phoenix.
