SOVARZO, Baltazar

West Valley View, Avondale, AZ January 01, 2010 Baltazar Sovarzo, 91, of Litchfield Park died Dec. 28, 2009, in Litchfield Park. Mr. Sovarzo was born July 19, 1918, in Tucson. He served in the Army during World War II and was part of the D-Day Normandy Invasion. He lived in Camp 52 and worked at Goodyear Farms for almost 50 years. He is survived by his wife, Cruz; three daughters, Angie Soto, Martha De Halle and LoriAnn Marshell; 19 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at 9 a.m. Jan. 4 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 539 E. La Pasada Blvd. in Goodyear. A service will begin at 10.
