ADAMS, Olar

West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona January 19, 2010 Olar Adams, 96, of Buckeye died Jan. 16, 2010, at West Valley Hospital in Goodyear. Mrs. Adams was born July 18, 1913, in Arkansas. She married Joe B. in 1929. The couple moved to Arizona in 1955 and worked in cotton fields. The couple lived in Oregon from 1963 to 1979. She moved to Buckeye after her husband died in 1979. She volunteered at the Buckeye Senior Center. She is survived by two daughters, Margaret Peebles and Josie Sillett; seven sons, Bud, Wenson, Bobby, Charles, James, George and Donald; 26 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Visitation will run from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ganley's Buckeye Funeral Home, 104 E. Baseline Road in Buckeye. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at First Assembly of God, 23230 W. MC85 in Buckeye.
