GARCIA, George Anton

The Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Tuesday, October 14, 2008 George Anton Garcia of Tucson died Oct. 5. He was 50 years old. Mr. Garcia was born Feb. 14, 1958, in Cottonwood. He lived in the Verde Valley for 48 years. Mr. Garcia worked at the Clarkdale Phoenix Cement plant for several years and played in several local rock 'n' roll bands in the Verde Valley for many years. Mr. Garcia was preceded in death by his father, Antonio Garcia. He is survived by his mother, Ramona Garcia; four children, Melissa, Penny, Amanda and Tony Garcia; and siblings Tony Jr., Butch, Bootsie, Penny and Mercy. A memorial service for Mr. Garcia willtake place Oct. 19, 2 p.m., at Calvary Chapel Verde Valley, Ariz.
