JOHNSON, Stanley Richard (Stan)


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 10/04/2011 Stanley Richard Johnson died Sept. 27, 2011 at home in St. Johns. He was was born May 4,1926 in Deer Park, Wash. Stan was a lifetime teamster and part time wheeler dealer as he enjoyed trading and buying and selling vehicles and jewelry and whatever else he thought would make for a good deal. He loved Louis L'amour books and had a complete set at home. Stan is survived by his wife, Margaret “Tisa” Johnson; sons, Jack R. Laws and Vincent B. Holland; daughters: Jennifer L. Beatty, Candace Kay Henley, Jean Henley, and Bobbie Lynn Brock. He is also survived by his brother, Tom Johnson; two sisters: Carol Fields and Margaret Anders; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Stan was preceded in death by two sons, Richard Michael Johnson (killed in the Vietnam war) and James Earl Johnson who died at birth.
