The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, AZ Tuesday, October 04, 2011 Perry Starr born 9-8-48 died 9-17-2011 at Flagstaff Medical Center of respiratory failure due to pneumonia and familial pulmonary fibrosos. Born in Nemcolin, Penn, Perry was a Verde Valley resident from 1977 to 2002. Perry resided at his wilderness ranch southwest of Seligman, AZ since 2002. A small family service was held on September 24th at Perry’s home and a Pot Luck Memorial Benefit will be held at Riverfront Park, Ramada C, in Cottonwood on Sunday, October 16th, from 1-4 p.m. Information provided by survivors.
