DORMAN, Corey Carlton


The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Wednesday, October 05, 2011 Corey Carlton Dorman, 39, of Wickenburg, died Sept. 29 in a tragic automobile accident on Highway 93 in Wickenburg. He was born Jan. 17, 1972 in Little Rock, Ark. Corey is survived by his mother BJ Dorman of Wickenburg; his father Richard Carlton Dorman of Kingwood, Texas; his older sister Kimberly Cook and nieces Taylor, Madison, and Jordan Cook of Prescott; and his grandparents John and Margie Rowe of Baytown, Texas; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Corey was an environmentalist. He spent the past four years cleaning up the desert around Wickenburg. He received a commendation for his environmental work from the police department in Hawaii where he lived prior to moving to Wickenburg. Corey was a member of the Miners Creek Prospecting Club and the Wickenburg Gem and Mineral Society. He loved animals and all of nature - especially his faithful dogs Raz, Mac, Brandy, and Bear. He worked with his mom to care for injured wild birds and bunnies until they could be released back into the wild. May he rest in peace.
