Jessie Franklin Madden Jr., 61, of Buckeye died from a heart attack Feb. 7, 2010, at his home.

Mr. Madden was born Feb. 7, 1949, in Bakersfield, Calif. His family moved to Arizona in 1951. He worked as a groundskeeper for the Estrella community in Goodyear.

He is survived by one daughter, Christina; one sister, Jane Leppla of Peoria; and three granddaughters.

Services were Feb. 13 in Buckeye. The Rev. Kendall Laury officiated.
