SEDILLO, Jo Ann

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 10/07/2011 Jo Ann Sedillo, 39, of North Fork died Oct. 1, 2011, surrounded by her loving family at her home in North Fork. She was born Aug. 18, 1972, in Whiteriver to Daniel J. and Mary Ann (Alchesay) Sedillo. Jo Ann served her country in the United States Army. She was honorably discharged at Fort Hood, Texas. She was an active member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #60 in Whiteriver. Following her time in the military she moved to Tucson an attended the University of Arizona. She graduated in 2005 with a Bachelors of Science Degree. An avid outdoorsman she enjoyed spending time in the White Mountains. A kind, warm-hearted, compassionate person she was always willing to lend a helping hand. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her cat. Jo Ann is survived by her parents, Daniel Joe and Mary Ann Sedillo of North Fork; a brother Terry (Lydia) Dosela of Whiteriver; a sister Sandie (Larold Littleman) Sedillo of North Fork and a nephew Pancho Dan Littleman of North Fork. She was preceded in death by her brother, Danny Sedillo. A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, at the American Legion Hall Post #60 in Whiteriver. Services will follow at 1 p.m. at the North Fork Miracle Church, also in Whiteriver. Interment will follow services in the family plot in North Fork.
