DEATH: FOUND THREE ARTICLES ON FILM AT THE SHARLOT HALL MUSEUM

J.W. BARRINGTON IS REPORTED SERIOUSLY ILL AND IS NOT EXPECTED TO LIVE.
J.W. BARRINGTON, a well known and estimable citizen of Prescott, died this morning about 3 o’clock, after a somewhat protracted illness. Mr. Barrington was taken sick last June with an attack of typhoid fever, and came very near to death’s portals, but finally rallied and recovered from the fever, but other complications set in, from which he has been a sufferer ever since. Until relieved by death this morning.
Mr. Barrington was an exemplary citizen, and leaves a wife and several children to mourn the lost of a devoted husband and affectionate father. Deceased was fifty years of age. His death occurred at his residence on Groom creek, and his remains were brought into town this morning to the residence of his son-in-law, A.F. Swigert, in East Prescott, from where the funeral will take place tomorrow, Saturday afternoon, at 2 o’clock.

(His wife was Elizabeth Anne Shanberger Barrington. They had six known children. Mary Elizabeth, Catherine M., Younda, Margarite Z., John W., and William Danial.)
