LUNA, Jose (Joe)

West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona March 09, 2010 Jose "Joe" Luna, 65, of Harquahala Valley died March 5, 2010, in Phoenix. Mr. Luna was born April 1, 1944, in Seguin, Texas, to Augustine and Luisa. His family moved to Arizona in the early 1960s. He worked as a farmer in California and Arizona. He is survived by two daughters, Esther Llavias and Christina Alvarez; four sons, Ronnie, Reuben, Joe Adon and Anthony; one brother, Robert; four sisters, Lupe Bautista, Juanita, Sida and Lucia; 17 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Henry Catholic Church, 128 S. Third St. in Buckeye. The Rev. William Kosco will officiate. Interment will follow at Louis B. Hazelton Memorial Cemetery in Buckeye.
