West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona March 09, 2010 Roy M. Perez, 70, of Avondale died March 4, 2010, at his home. Mr. Perez was born Jan. 8, 1940, in Avondale to Toribio and Isabel. He married his wife, Ida G., on July 6, 1959. He was a machinist at Goodyear Aerospace. He was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Ida G.; three daughters, Ysabel, Celia and Mary; five sons, Roy, Joe, Juan, Raymond and Jesus; one sister, Carmen Cruz; two brothers, Raymond Mesa and Pete; 40 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren. Services are 9 a.m. today at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 539 E. La Pasada Blvd. in Goodyear. A rosary will be said at 9:30. Mass will be celebrated at 10:30.
