SAUNDERS, SR., John Chester

West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona March 09, 2010 John Chester Saunders Sr., 63, of Avondale died from cardiac arrest March 3, 2010, at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale. Mr. Saunders was born Sept. 4, 1946, in Salem, Mass. He moved to Arizona in 1988. He worked for Primerica. He was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. He is survived by his companion, Janet H. Beason; one daughter, Shelley A. Sabo; one son, John C. Jr.; two brothers, Elliott Jr. of Old Orchid, Maine, and Bruce of Salem; and five grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. March 13 at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 6300 W. Camelback Road, in Glendale. The Rev. Melinda Archer will be officiating. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 710 Second Ave., Suite 900, Seattle, WA 98104.
