Santiago L. Macias, 78, if Avondale died March 16, 2010, in Phoenix.
Mr. Macias was born May 1, 1931, in Gonzales, Texas. He moved to Arizona in the early 1950s. He worked in the farming industry in Gila Bend and Buckeye.

He is survived by six daughters, Patsy Rico, Maria, Diana Najara, Erma Figueroa, Angie and Sara; five sons, Santiago Jr., Jesse, Arturo, Gilbert and Alex; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services were March 20 at Avondale Christian Assembly. Interment was at Louis B. Hazelton Cemetery in Buckeye.

Ganley's Buckeye Funeral Home made the arrangements.
