Purdy Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. March 8 at the Wickenburg Funeral Home for Mrs. Jennie Alice Purdy, age 83, who died March 5 in Community Hospital where she had been a patient since the first of the month. The Rev. Bert Follmar of the Calvary Baptist Church officiated and burial followed in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Mrs. Purdy, a native of Little Rock, Ark., had lived in Wickenburg the past 15 years, coming here from Glendale, Ariz., where she had moved 54 years ago. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Leota Craft of Phoenix, formerly of Wickenburg; a son David Thomas of El Centro, Calif.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
