Leslie M. Thomas of Salome, a 52-year member of the Elks Lodge, died March 31 in Community Hospital here and was buried Wednesday evening at 5 o'clock in Wickenburg Cemetery with the Wickenburg Elks Lodge conducting graveside services.
Mr. Thomas was a native of Kansas where he was born January 19, 1882. He was a steam engineer and lived for many years in Oregon before retiring and moving to Salome eight years ago to make his home with his sister, Miss Edith O. Thomas. He joined the Elks Lodge in Sterling, Colo., in 1916.
Two other sister, Mrs. Ethel Johnson of Salome and Mrs. Frances Cresswell of Sheridan, Wyo., and several nieces and nephews living in California also survive.
