Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona April 18, 1968 Ephraim Baker Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Wickenburg Funeral Home for Ephraim Baker, 54-year-old resident of this community, who died Tuesday in Prescott. The Rev. Raymond Valentine of the Assembly of God Church will officiate and burial will be in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Born Jun 14, 1873 in Missouri, Mr. Baker moved to the Salt River Valley in 1882 and to Wickenburg in 1913. During his long life he had been rancher, miner and apiarist. Surviving are two sons, O.D. Baker and Charles Baker, Wickenburg; six daughters, Charlotte Long, Wickenburg; Lena Gilbert, Prescott; Martha Bell, Fresno, Calif.; Jessie Morris, Salem, Wash.; Bernette Reynolds, Roosevelt, Utah, and Margaret James, Phoenix; a sister, Dora Parker, Calif., surviving also are 23 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
