Many Wickenburgers were acquainted with Mitri Minotto, age 51, former owner of the large ranch and cattle operation near Forepaugh which was acquired by the Farmers Investment Co. Mr. Minotto, residing in recent years at the La Canoa Ranch at Amado, 25 miles north of Nogales, Ariz., died May 3 in Tucson hospital.
He was a native of New York State, the son of James Minotto, prominent in the business and civic life of Phoenix and of Mrs. Edamay Swift Minotto, a member of the Swift meat packing family who died in 1943.
Mitri Minotto was a veteran of World War II, serving four years in the U.S. Navy.
Funeral survives were held at 2 p.m. May 7 in Phoenix. He is survived by his wife Mamie; two sons, Mike and Dan Ramsey, both of Amado; a brother, James Minotto, Jr. and his father, both of Phoenix, and two sisters, Mrs. George Walker of Skull Valley and Anina Minotto of new York.
