Funeral services were held in the Baptist Church in Miller Valley Monday, May 27 for Army Pvt. Frank C. Novell, age 20, of Bagdad, who resided briefly in Wickenburg while serving as projectionist at the Saguaro Theatre during the time it was operated by the Jim Snelsons of Bagdad. 

Private Norvell died in Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident. 

Burial was in the Mountain View Cemetery, Prescott, with full military honors.
