Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona June 13, 1968 Mrs. Heigho Dies Funeral services are pending for Mrs. Barbara Heigho, age 62, a resident of the Prescott Highway for the past several years. She died at 12:20 p.m. Tuesday in Community Hospital following a lingering illness. She is survived by a son Maxwell of Key Biscayne, Fla. He has been here for some time. ~~~~~~~~ Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona June 20, 1968, page 15 Barbara Heigho Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. June 14 at the Wickenburg Cemetery for Mrs. Barbara Heigho who died June 11 in Community Hospital here, where she had been a patient over a considerable period of time. Her death, although not expected, brought sadness to the many friends she had made here through her cheerfulness, her courage and her warm friendly personality. Born in Detroit, Mich., May 31, 1908, she lived her early life in that community. She and her husband the late William Steven Heigho and son Maxwell came west in 1942, living for a year in Las Cruces, New Mexico, before moving to Palm Springs, Calif. They later lived in Berkeley, Calif., and came to Wickenburg in 1965, buying a home on the Prescott Highway. The son is the only close survivor.
