RIGGINS, Reeve William

Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona October 3, 1968 R. W. Riggins Death came in Community Hospital September 30 to Reeve William Riggins, better known as “Bill,” well know resident of this town for more than 20 years. He had observed his 89th birthday in January of this year. Funeral services are being held this afternoon (Thursday) at the Wickenburg Funeral Home with G. L. Huthmacher officiating, and burial will be in the Wickenburg Cemetery. He was born January 11, 1879 in Illinois and came to Arizona in 1905. He was, for many years prior to his retirement, a carpenter for the Santa Fe Railroad in Winslow. Mr. Riggins is survived by his wife Hattie; a son Lafe of Scottsdale and daughter Myrtle Lafontaine of Templeton, Calif.; a brother Ivory of Wickenburg and sister Mrs. Annie Goble, Phoenix.
