Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona December 19, 1968, page 11 Mrs. Edward Howard Friends here have learned of the death December 7 in Elgin, Illinois, of Mrs. Edward F. Howard, age 92, mother of the late Belford Howard of Wickenburg, whom she had visited during his residence here. Mrs. Howard was born in Illinois, of a pioneer family, and lived all of her life in Elgin and the nearby area. She was the widow of the general superintendent of the Illinois Watch Case and Elgin American companies. Funeral services were held December 9 with burial in the Bluff City Cemetery. She is survived by a son, Gordon Howard, a frequent Wickenburg visitor and guest at Ranch de los Caballeros; a daughter, Mrs. William K. Child of Elgin; a brother and three grandchildren.
