Ora L. Galvin
Ora L. Galvan, a Maricopa County deputy sheriff for the past 14 years in the town of Aguila, died December 17 in Veterans Hospital at Whipple. He was 65 years of age and a Navy veteran of World War II. Funeral services were held at the Wickenburg Funeral Home at 1 p.m. Saturday and burial was in the Aguila Cemetery.
A native of Flagstaff, Mrs. Galvin had lived for many years in the Aguila area where he was widely known. His wife preceded him in death several years ago. He was a member of the Wickenburg VFW Post and Hassayampa Lodge No. 37, F. & A.M.
Survivors include a sister Mrs. Iva Lee White of Aguila, two half sisters, Mrs. Mary L. Green of Paramount, Calif., and Mrs. Leola Rutledge of Clarkdale, Ariz., and two half-brothers, Kearney Moore of Congress and Jessie Moore of Blythe, Calif.
