The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ May 27, 1949 Tom Keefe’s Father Passed Away Sunday Friends of Thomas E. Keefe, III, of the staff of The SUN, will regret to learn of the death of which occurred in a hospital in Ottumwa, Iowa, at 1:30 a.m. Sunday. Mr. Keefe had undergone an emergency major operation a week previously. His son, who flew to Ottumwa, was at his bedside when death came. Surviving are the widow, a second son, John McC. Keefe, 13, his mother, two brothers and a sister. Funeral and burial services were held in Ottumwa Tuesday morning.
