The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ November 25, 1949 ALFREDO VERDUGO PASSES AWAY HERE Funeral services were held here Saturday, November 19, for Alfredo Verdugo, 77, who passed away November 17 at the home of his sister Mrs. Pete Garcia. Burial was in the Garcia cemetery on the Prescott highway. Born in Tucson Mr. Verdugo had been a Wickenburg resident since 1910 and had been in ill health for several years. Immediate survivors include Mrs. Garcia and two other sisters, Mrs. Mary Gonzales, Los Angeles and Mrs. Reta Bustos, Phx. Both were here for the services. Ten nephew came from Los Angeles including three sons, of Mr. and Mrs. Pete Garcia; Fred, Pete, Jr., and Gus.
