Yazzie Sr. of Cameron was the ex-son inlaw of the Late Elmer and Mary Clark of Grey Mountain. Graduated from Flagstaff High School in 1969 attended Flagstaff High School from Flagstaff Indian Dormitory. A former Vietnam Veteran served in the Navy in 1969-1973 aboard the Aircraft carriers USS Oriskan, USS Enterprise. He proceeds in death by father Joe M. Yazzie Sr. and brother Benjamin M. Yazzie Sr. Son, Christopher S. Yazzie. Nephews Brian J. Huskon, Kevin C. Yazzie and great nephew Jordan Robbins. He is survived by daughters Stephanie Ann Yazzie, Melissa Sue Yazzie, son Lyle Clark of Phoenix. Sandra Black and Kara Roanhorse. Grandchildren: Brandon S. Yazzie, Aaron S. Belone, Joelle M. Clark, Tyra M. Clark, Jaymi K. Clark, Joseph J. Flores, Kai-yu A. Colorado, Morgan L. Clark, Payne C. Clark, Damien D. Begay. Siblings: JoAnn Huskin, Hubert Yazzie, Thomas Yazzie, Evangeline Yazzie, Carmelita Goldtooth, Loretta Benally, Quintina Jim, Patricia Bighorse, Ambrose Yazzie , and Sandra Yazzie. Services will be held at Flagstaff L.D.S stake center, on Cherry Avenue, Friday, October 14, 2011 at 1pm. Interment will be held at Flagstaff Veterans Cemetery.
