John was raised in Flagstaff where he attended Flagstaff High School & NAU. He is Survived by his wife Virginia Almendarez Young, his children, Johnny (Socorro) Jimenez of Flagstaff, Billy Young of Flagstaff, Jeffery (Jennifer) Young of Tucson, One sister Jane Berg Of California, 5 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Military Services will be held Friday October 7, 2011 at 11:00 am at Citizens Cemetery 1300 S. San Francisco Flagstaff Az.
