Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, AZ Sunday, October 09, 2011 Jay Beck, 60, passed away on Monday morning, October 3, 2011, after a two year battle with liver cancer. Jay was born on July 13, 1951 and he was the owner and operator of BesTec Office Systems and the founder of the "Pony Express" family band. A strong and supportive, family-man he believed and lived the motto of "Go Out and Do It!" He spent a lifetime performing and playing music, racing both radio control and full size race cars; as well as, having traveled and lived in more than half of the United States before making Flagstaff his home. He is survived by his wife Carol and two children, Christine and Clifton, who will continue running the local business. Plans are arranged for a private service. Please call 928-526-3012.
