Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, AZ Wednesday, October 12, 2011 Mrs. Arlene T. Smith, age 81, of Peridot, Ariz. passed away on Oct. 5, 2011 at University Medical Center in Tucson. She was born in San Carlos on Feb. 13, 1930, the daughter of Oliver and Amy (Randall) Talgo. She worked as a director for the Community Health Representative for the San Carlos Tribe. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth Moses; her brother, Larry Talgo; and her sister, Cordelia Kindelay. Arlene is survived by her children, Michael (Ellen) Smith, Bobby Jo (Theresa) Smith, Jimmy (Faye) Smith and Sally (Malcolm) Hooke; her brothers, Harrison Talgo, Sr., Stevenson Talgo, Oliver Talgo, Jr., and Elliot Talgo, Sr.; her sisters, Audrey Anderson, Nina Yoyetewa, Berlinda Miller, Marthabel Talgo, Ethel Talgo, JoAnn Victor, Serena Stewart and Connie Kitcheyan; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Wake was held on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2011 at the Smith’s Residence at Hallelujay Square in Peridot, Ariz. Funeral Services were Sunday, Oct. 9, 2011 at Stanley Hall in Bylas, Ariz. Interment was at Blackpoint Cemetery in Bylas, Ariz. Assisting the family; Lamont Mortuary of Globe.
