QUINTERO, Violet Theresa

Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, AZ Wednesday, October 12, 2011 Violet Theresa Quintero, age 83 of Whiteriver, Ariz. passed away on Oct. 4, 2011 at Copper Mountain Inn Nursing Home in Globe. She was born in Whiteriver on Oct. 11, 1927, the daughter of David and Helen (Holden) Kane. Violet was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gus Quintero, Sr. in 2004. Violet is survived by her children, Ronda Dickson, (Alton), Bernaleen Titla, Kathleen Antonio (Richardson), Rosaleen Quintero,Timo Quintero (Rebecca), Joleen Antonio (Morris), Gus Quintero, Jr., and Patrick Quintero; her sisters, Ruby Kane and Joann Kane; as well as 16 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Wake was held on Monday, Oct. 10, 2011 at the Quintero Residence in Whiteriver, Ariz. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Whiteriver. Interment was at Red Hill Cemetery, Cedar Creek-Whiteriver, Ariz. Assisting the family; Lamont Mortuary of Globe.
