PERALTA, Margie O.

Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, AZ Wednesday, October 12, 2011 Margie O. Peralta of Superior, Ariz., passed away Oct. 2, 2011, at home surrounded by her family after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Dawson, N.M., on Feb. 3, 1928. Mary received her Bachelor of Arts in Education from Arizona State University and taught in the Superior Public Schools. She was preceded in death by her sons, Raul “Winnie” and Arturo Peralta. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Raul J. “Winnie” Peralta; daughter, Mary Ann (Tony) Villaverde; nine grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and her “Buddy” cousin Frank Ramos. Memorial mass was held Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 490 Main Street, in Superior, Ariz. A special thanks to The Crossing Hospice Care in Globe for the care, love, and support they provided for Margie. Funeral arrangements for Margie O. Peralta were entrusted to Miles Funeral Services Miami, 309 W Live Oak Street, Miami, Arizona 85539.
